Cody Jr have cultivated their signature Americana / British rock originals & covers sound with Californian lead singer Jim and Brits Del, Jez and Mark. Their musical influences stretch far and wide, but imagine a fine indie-rock and rock n roll blend of Talking Heads, Dr Feelgood and classic REM with a Neil Young electric guitar vibe. Then sprinkle on a dash of Ramones and you’ve got some Cody Jr.

Walter Kocays is an Alternative-Folk singer-songwriter from Stoke-on-Trent, based in Manchester.

Often accompanied by long-term friend and collaborator Jack Mitchell on violin, Dennis Dinkle on Keys and Charley Westing on bass, Kocays combines elements of traditional and contemporary folk, spoken word and acoustic music; taking influence from the likes of Scott Matthews, Bon Iver, Mike Skinner and Kae Tempest.

Expect bellowing vocals, moving string arrangements and a chap that doesn’t take himself too seriously whilst spluttering out the depths of his emotional thoughts and perspectives.
