HERtz Live

Hosted by Charlotte Besley & Fern McNulty (Foxpalmer), HERtz Live is a shiny new band night that aims to amplify female driven frequencies.

The event will take place in the basement bar of the Star of Shoreditch, a vibrant late night venue with neon signs and a stellar drinks selection.

Doors open at 7pm and live music starts at 7.30pm. The acts we’ve booked to blow your minds range from acoustic indie-folk to five-piece country-pop and all include awesome female talent.

FOXPALMER 

There’s something about a song that can stop us in our tracks. It might drift out of a radio or be heard in its full glory at a live show, but however you catch it, there’s a connection that means you’re hooked for life, the imprint of those notes and lyrics stamped into your very soul.

Foxpalmer has a whole store of such material, their siren song calling to your heart and head until they go around on repeat in your thoughts all day, elegantly firing off your synapses. With a unique mix of rock, Americana style folk and lush indie, theirs is a striking sound, as captivating as it is different.

CHARLOTTE BESLEY 

Passionate performer and London College of Music alumni, Charlotte Besley took her music career to the next level when she started writing songs and playing guitar during lockdown.

These new skills enabled Charlotte to become a solo artist and release original material including a new single, “Run From Your Love” that was released in June 2024 and has already received radio plays from leading country-music stations.

Her sound is a soulful blend of country, pop & rock that will get your toes-a-tapping!  

DREAMHEADS 

Quirky 3-piece outfit, Dreamheads have a unique sound that comes from a myriad of influences (Joy Division, Kate Bush and the music of Brazil to name a few) and the powerful vocals of front woman, Natasha.

ISSYWASHERE

Indie folk musician, Issy brings a frank and authentic sound to the scene. Her music is a blend of reflective storytelling and rich, acoustic melodies.
