Taboos Live Music Show
Taboos Live Music Show is back with a bang for 2026 at The Star in Shoreditch. Get set for night of dynamic new music from some of the UK’s most exciting emerging talents.
Experience the multidisciplinary artist and creative architect that is Young Gstar (aka Flávio/Lil Flávio) whose work blends rap, melody, and psychedelic experimentation into immersive worlds. Known as The TrippyHippie, Young Gstar uses rap as his primary instrument to explore identity, duality, and escape — crafting cinematic projects that feel less like releases and more like portals.
Joining him is Birmingham-born rapper Varne who is making a name for himself in the UK scene with a sound that’s distinctly his own. Now based in Nottingham for university, he continues to develop his smooth flows and inventive lyricism. His unique style recently earned him a feature on BBC Introducing on BBC East Midlands Radio with his single ‘Make It Happen’.
Also lighting up the stage is Finnchilla, inspired by the likes of Eminem, Lil Dicky, Dr Syntax and The Streets. Expect a high energy, showstopping live set as Finnchilla drops boom bap anthems and grime-laced head boppers that will have both hip-hop heads and casual music fans alike vibing.
